1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains the terms and conditions under which Nano Banana ("we," "our," or "us") provides refunds for purchases made through our Service. By making a purchase, you agree to this Refund Policy.
2. Subscription Refunds
2.1 Eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund of your subscription fee if:
- You request the refund within seven (7) days of your initial purchase
- You have used less than 10% of your subscription credits
- Your account is in good standing with no violations of our Terms of Service
2.2 Refund Amount
Refunds will be calculated as follows:
- Base refund amount equals the subscription price minus any used portion (pro-rated by days)
- A processing fee of 5% will be deducted from the refund amount
- Bonus credits are non-refundable and will be removed upon refund processing
3. Automatic Renewal Refunds
3.1 Full Refunds
We will provide a full refund for automatic subscription renewals if:
- You have not used any credits in the renewed billing period
- You request the refund within seven (7) days of the renewal date
- The renewal was unintentional
Upon processing a full renewal refund, your subscription will be immediately cancelled.
3.2 Partial Refunds
Partial refunds for renewals may be considered on a case-by-case basis if:
- Less than 25% of the renewal period has elapsed
- You have used less than 10% of allocated credits
- You provide a valid reason for the refund request
4. Credit Package Refunds
4.1 Eligibility
One-time credit package purchases may be eligible for refund if:
- Less than 50% of purchased credits have been used
- The refund request is made within thirty (30) days of purchase
- No violations of our Terms of Service have occurred
4.2 Refund Calculation
Credit package refunds are calculated using the following formula:
Refund Amount = (Unused Credits / Total Credits) × Purchase Price - Processing Fee
The processing fee is 5% of the original purchase price.
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
- Processing and transaction fees
- Credits that have been consumed
- Expired subscriptions or credits
- Purchases made more than thirty (30) days ago (for credit packages) or seven (7) days ago (for subscriptions)
- Accounts that have been terminated for violations of our Terms of Service
- Custom enterprise agreements (governed by separate terms)
- Promotional credits, bonus credits, or free trial credits
6. Special Circumstances
6.1 Technical Issues
If you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the Service:
- We will first attempt to resolve the technical issue
- If the issue cannot be resolved, we may offer a refund or service credit at our discretion
- You must provide documentation of the technical issue
6.2 Service Changes
If we make significant changes to the Service that materially affect your ability to use purchased features:
- We will provide thirty (30) days advance notice
- You may request a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your subscription
7. Refund Process
7.1 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email our support team at support@applebanana.org
- Include your account email address and transaction ID
- Provide a detailed reason for your refund request
- Include any relevant documentation
7.2 Processing Time
- We will acknowledge your refund request within 24 hours
- A decision will be made within 3 business days
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Funds will be returned to your original payment method
8. Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with our refund decision:
- You may request a review by our management team
- You may contact your payment provider to dispute the charge
- Disputes are subject to the dispute resolution provisions in our Terms of Service
9. Abuse Prevention
We reserve the right to:
- Deny refund requests from users who have requested multiple refunds
- Suspend or terminate accounts that abuse our refund policy
- Modify this policy to prevent abuse
Users are limited to a maximum of two (2) refunds per twelve (12) month period.
10. International Refunds
- Refunds are processed in the original currency of purchase
- Exchange rate fluctuations are not covered
- International transaction fees charged by your bank are not refundable
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date.
